Breaking the habits I don't want is about the most difficult and frustrating challenge I've faced, and the battle never really ends. This month, I've decided to set tougher goals and hang bigger rewards at the end of the stick. I've tried rewards that were a part of the habit I was trying to break (If I don't order pizza all week, I can indulge on Saturday), but pizza later isn't a very effective incentive to not have some now. This month I've picked out a present for myself, something indulgent but not unhealthy, that I desire more than tonight's junk food. So far, so good.
Thanks for continuing to share and encourage all of us to stay the course.
